British Isles Pavilion 2026 Adult and Youth Ambassadors had a great time at the Ambassador’s Welcome event! 💜💚💙❤️🎉

The Barefoot Ceili Band is a featured performer at McConnell Irish Dance’s St. Patrick’s Fest’ 2026, bringing Winnipeg’s BEST traditional Irish sound to Winnipeg’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
The Barefoot Ceili Band features a powerhouse roster of traditional musicians:
* Cathy Rayner (Fiddle): A seasoned performer and educator who has played with groups like Culainn and Stray Celts.
* David Strang (Concertina): President of the Winnipeg chapter of Comhaltas, known for his mastery of the bellows-driven concertina.
* Rosalyn Dennett (Fiddle): An internationally acclaimed roots musician, founding member of Oh My Darling
* Jordan McConnell (Uilleann Pipes & Guitar): A central figure in the local scene, founding member and the primary guitarist for the Juno and Grammy-nominated Winnipeg folk band The Duhks
* Special Guest Alistair Dennett (Bodhrán): Joining the group to provide the driving rhythmic heartbeat of the ceili on the traditional Irish frame drum.
Winnipeg’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, hosted by McConnell Irish Dance, with Irish Music, Food, Dance, Continuous Entertainment, 50/50, Silent Auction, and Children’s Activities!

Irish Food & Drink will be available for purchase. Homestyle Beef Pies, Cheese & Onion Pies, Mashed Potatoes, Hearty Potato Soup with Fresh Baked Bread Rolls, Corned Beef Sandwiches with Chips, Cakes and Sweet Desserts.
The Bar will be well stocked with Guinness, fine Whiskey, Irish Coffee, and your favourite Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic beverages.

Enaid is set to headline the McConnell Irish Dance St. Patrick’s Fest’ 2026 on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain (CCFM). Known as Winnipeg’s premier Celtic rock band, Enaid will bring their high-energy sound to the Salle Jean-Paul Aubry Hall as part of an evening of continuous entertainment with doors opening at 5:30 pm
Performance Lineup
The band features a powerhouse of local talent:
* Skylar Bouchard: Lead vocals and the evening’s Emcee.
* Alan Owen: Fiddle and vocals.
* Cathy Rayner: Fiddle.
* David Strang: Concertina and vocals.
* Mat Reimer: Guitar and vocals.
* Jake Bell: Drums.
* Jake Stead: Bass.
Event Details
* Location: CCFM, 340 Provencher Blvd, Winnipeg.
* Time: Doors open at 5:30 PM, with entertainment running until 11:00 PM.
* Tickets: Available at https://3common.com/event/69a095aff25a6e102a14297f Advanced prices are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for youth (ages 4-17). Children 3 and under are free.
* Highlights: The festival includes performances by the McConnell Irish Dancers and the Barefoot Céilí Band, along with a Celtic market, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle.
* Food & Drink: Traditional Irish fare will be available, including homestyle beef or cheese and onion pies, corned beef sandwiches, and a well-stocked bar featuring Guinness and Irish whiskey.
Access to the event is through the northeast corner of the building, directly into the Jean-Paul Aubry Hall, rather than the main CCFM entrance.
