Our Story

Based on Psalm 139, Beautiful Unique Girl (BUgirl) inspires girls ages 13 - 19 with the message that God loves them; that God has a purpose for their lives that far outreaches the lies general society and our culture tries to instill about who they should be; and that God longs to be in relationship with them through Jesus Christ.

Originally a travelling live event, then a TV program, Beautiful Unique Girl now takes the form of YouTube videos. The videos use humour, a short teaching, and creative arts to share the message from Scripture. Please check them out on the Beautiful Unique Girl YouTube channel and follow Beautiful Unique Girl on Instagram.

The Beautiful Unique Girl TV show is currently airing on FAITH TV on Thursdays at 3:30 pm Central Time. Episodes include teaching with host Heather Boersma, personal stories, and creative arts segments such as slam poetry, dance and original music performances. TV episodes can be viewed online at www.bugirl.com. The full episodes as well as shorter teaching segments can also be viewed on the Beautiful Unique Girl YouTube channel.
