Sarah Paradise (B FA, B Ed)
Sarah Paradise, also known as VJ Toxic Prophecy, is an Interactive Digital Media Artist who transforms two dimensional surfaces into three dimensional landscapes using video projection mapping techniques that illuminate the night with live visuals.
Her interactive digital media artwork has been displayed throughout venues in Winnipeg such as the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Planetarium, the Plug Inn Institute of Contemporary Art, Cinematheque, the Rachel Browne Theatre, Videopool, Ace Art, the Park Theatre, the Metropolitan, as well as the Edge Gallery and Urban Arts Centre.
She has performed live visual sets at a variety of Canadian outdoor electronic music festivals such as the Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition (Winnipeg, MB), Connect 22: Terminus (Moose Jaw, SK), and Motion Notion (Golden, BC). She has also performed in the United States Bloom Town (Waubun, Minnesota).
Her current style embodies elements of glitch, surrealism, abstraction, geometric patterns, space, nature, and technology. She strives to create immersive visual experiences for a wide range of audiences.
