Big news! Time Release, created by Lauren Collins and Ben Lewis and produced by Wookey Films, has been selected for development funding from the IPF.

The short form series follows two drifting best friends who opt for a radical new medical procedure, putting more than just their friendship at risk.

Wookey Films is very excited to be working with Ben and Lauren to bring their bold vision to life.

CASTING CALL! INDIGENOUS WEDDING SHOW!

Tag and share with Indigenous couples engaged to be married!

Wookey Films is casting a new unscripted series showcasing real-life Indigenous love. Cameras will follow real couples during the planning process, as well as the fun and excitement of the big day! This is a series that celebrates Indigenous love and joy in all of its shapes and colours. Couples of all ages and orientations are encouraged to apply. Whether you’re planning a bougie black tie event in downtown Vancouver or something small and cozy mostly facilitated by the aunties in your home community, we want to hear from you!

Participating couples will receive some financial assistance in covering wedding costs.

If you and your future spouse are interested in participating, please click the link below and fill out the application form by Monday, January 26th, 2026. Applicants of interest will be contacted in the weeks to follow.
