Meet the cast— Cory Falvo

If one person should be blamed for this show, it’s Cory.

Cory has been performing stand up comedy for 8 years. Later they formed sketch group President Bear and performed in two Winnipeg Fringe productions with writing, creating props, videos, and sound effects. This earned them a gig with the Winnipeg production of Evil Dead: The Musical as sound design/tech, where they fell in love with making noise.

Cory is responsible for adapting COMMANDO: The Radio Play, and will be performing the sound effects and music for tonight’s production.

Meet the cast— Sam McLean

Sam is a Winnipeg based comedian and improviser known for his energetic physical comedy and relatively tall stature (6'3" on a good day).

For the last ten years, Sam has been a core member of the DnD Improv Show, performing on stage and toiling behind the scenes to craft a variety of costumes and set pieces of varying quality. He has also worked on a number of sketch and alternative comedy stages and projects and has dabbled in short film, animation, and puppetry.

Whatever the style of performance, you can bet that improvisation will play some part in it.

Sam will be playing a myriad of voices in COMMANDO: The Radio Play, including The Narrator, and the nefarious Arius.

Meet the cast— Cathy Herbert

Cathy thinks listing one's own achievements is arrogant, but joke bios are hackneyed and dated, so what are you gonna do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cathy will be playing an array of voices including the evil Bennett, and co-hero Cindy.

Meet the cast— William O’Donnell

William can be seen getting mutilated in feature films like Manborg, Father’s Day and The Editor. Or smoking in Netflix’s How it Ends. He can be heard as various Transformers in the popular online series “Transformers: Generation.” And you may well have idly scrolled to him on your TV during his 8 season on the Week Thus Far or just saw him get lectured by giant raccoons in those darn recycling commercials. No matter which way you experienced him, he wants you to come see Commando: The Radio Play (and to buy his card game Surplus of Popes). William is your Arnold Schwarzenegger for the evening. @ Gas Station Arts Centre
