What an amazing event. I’m so grateful to have this space, these wonderful, creative, compassionate studio mates, to everyone who came out, for our delightful and talented DJ, to each maker who set a table up and brought delicious treats, to half pints brewery for their drink donation (every kind of tasty NON alcoholic drink ever). Blissed our today. And the space looks empty now without the socializing peeps from last night. Thank you all and thank you universe.

our very own Aliza Amihude is internationally known for her controversial yet contagious visual and performance art.
As a jeweller and sculptor, Aliza often mixes precious metals and gems with materials like twigs, sand, and hair to express her belief that the entire natural world is precious. As a performer and producer, she pushes the societal envelope with original songs, theatrics, political satire, dance, and comedy.
Her one-of-a-kind pieces have been exhibited and sold in Canada, USA, Singapore, and France. Susan Sarandon and the Honorable Adrienne Clarkson have Aliza’s wearable art in their collections.

Another artist coming to our studio warming, pop up market and dance party tomorrow night. Sale from 5 to 830. Dancing with DJ beekeeni from 9 to 12. Winnipeg based artist and educator Ursula Neufeld combines glass, ceramic, mirror and salvaged building materials from the urban landscape to create site-specific installations, murals and sculptural forms.
Ursula will have unique sculptural mosaics available for this great event.

Passionate about self-expression, she is greatly enjoying playing in her ceramics studio. Marni is also involved in QSS (Quality Senior Services), an organization whose goal is to provide professional assistance in all aspects of the lives of older adults. Marilyn & Thom MacNeill of Silver Renaissance have been making "silverware" jewelry for about 30 years. Their product lines have developed to include earrings, pendants, brooches, hair clips, keychains, pens, and windchimes.

Gail Puhawan. She is an artist, scientist, dancer, and mother of six. Not formally trained, she allows her inspiration to guide her. Her arting has been a very positive way to work through surviving trauma and depression. December 7th 5 to 12 at 10 Higgins
