The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and Jazz Winnipeg present The Way of Water on November 4 at Desautels Concert Hall 🌊

In The Way of Water, the Florian Hoefner Jazz Quartet and the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra come together for one of the most distinctive collaborations of MCO's 2026/27 season, bringing two musical traditions into conversation.

This is a sweeping, immersive collaboration exploring water as beauty, memory, and climate. Blending the improvisation of jazz with orchestral colour, The Way of Water invites audiences into a powerful sonic reflection on environmental change.

Artist applications are now open for Come Together! The annual industry showcase returns to Toronto this November 24 and 25, 2026.

Come Together is an opportunity for artists from across Canada to meet with, build business relationships, and showcase for key music industry professionals from Toronto and surrounding areas including labels, agents, managers, publishers, music supervisors, publicists, and more.

Participants will work directly with their music industry association to identify key music business contacts to invite and meet with. This event has goals beyond showcasing with a push towards industry connections, team building and business strategies for both artists and businesses.
