Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I grew up surrounded by the love of my parents and sister, as well as a fairly large extended family. I now also have two adorable nieces, whom I maybe spoil a little too much. To me, family is one of the most important things in life. en running my own photography business since 2010 when I graduated with a diploma in Professional Photography from Prairieview School of Photography in Winnipeg, MB. I have done a lot in the past 10+ years... portraits, engagements, weddings, maternity, newborns, children, families, events, etc... part-time, full time, and everything in between! I am currently running my photography business on a casual/part-time basis as I took on a new full time career back in 2017. For the most part, I pretty much only photograph portraits for returning clients, as well as family and friends these days as this is typically all I have time for with my other full time career. However, I do also continue to assist a local wedding photographer on a regular basis as I have for many years now and I will accept new portrait clients, as well as weddings of my own, if/when my schedule permits. I love looking at a photograph and being able to feel the emotion that was there while the image was being taken and that is how I want all of my clients to feel. By using the environment around me to create beautiful, artistic, yet simple backgrounds, the emotion is always present. My favourite place to take photos will always be outdoors. I love using natural light whenever possible and I am always trying to find amazing new locations. Photography is not just about taking photos, it is about creating art and that is what I love to do.
