Mike has lived & worked for 54 years of his life away from home on the road, during which time he worked & saved enough money (when he could find a job!) so as to be able to afford 15 years of post-secondary education; 15 years full-time education living and working away from home on the road, 7 years living and working away from Home in London, UK studying Music & Automotive Technology 🚛 and 10 years in Healthcare in Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta, Canada 📜 where he spent almost His entire adult life either working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist 👨🔬 a Medical Researcher 🔬 and Vaccine Developer 💉 where he helped develop an efficacious EBOLA vaccine that's saved hundreds of thousand of lives in the DRC so far ☣️ and as a palliative care musician amid vulnerable people with limited functional capacities for 15 years ♿️ & every aspect of Canada's politics, healthcare, justice & police state, His Home. ..
Plus, Mike served the community for 27 years & continues to serve the community, playing host on the Musicians Network (Winnipeg, MB), which nowadays has a page sharing local Winnipeg memes 🎭
Its hard to believe that the first of two career ending work related injuries I've sustained in my life occurred 40+ years ago this year 🧐 Then after I hurt my back hu***ng a rear axle truck spring on my own (hot tip = don't do that!) 🤣 I spent 10 agonizing years sitting down in the classroom becoming a medical scientist and vaccine developer to earn an income (hot tip = definitely don't do that!!) 🤣
I've also spent time at home, schooling myself on Canadian culture and whatnot, and I’m celebrating serving 44 years Monogamously in Matrimony in Canada as a responsible and accountable adult, partner & parent of a Wife, a Son, Two K9s, 4 felines, birds and lots of flora too, and I’m celebrating that I worked in Canada's Healthcare system for 30+ years, during which time I earned 3 Medical Science degrees and 4 diplomas in Automotive Mechanics and Medical Laboratory Sciences, & to go along with the Guinness Trophy I won as the most proficient Automotive Mechanic in London, UK, I won the most proficient student graduating in the final year practicing medical laboratory science from SAIT and The Calgary General Hospital between 1984 & 1986 😀
Please lead by example, follow with respect, be at home with yourself and keep your guard up, tell the truth, support your position, stand your ground and watch your back too, take care, be kind and enjoy life, it's its own reward ✌️💞🎶 ✔️🏡
