Streetheart 2026
Our thoughts today are with everyone at CFB Wainwright, the Canadian Armed Forces members, their families, and the entire community of Wainwright AB as they deal with this heartbreaking tragedy.
We have made many friends over the years in Wainwright and we have nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for all the men and women who serve our country.
We humbly send out our sincere condolences to all the families and loved ones of the deceased.
These four young men paid the ultimate price during training exercises...

Streetheart 2026
Our sincere thanks to everyone who came out to Bar Italia last night to honour our brother in arms, Chris Sutherland last night.
It was heartwarming to see so many good friends come together to pay tribute to one of the finest humans and musicians we have had the honour of having in our lives.
Chris touched the hearts of so many in such a positive way, we know he will be missed by everyone but forgotten by none.
Thank you all for a beautiful night of friendship.
All our love out to Chris' wife Tina Faye and his daughter Maggie who joined us last night and of course a huge thank you to Derrick Bertrand, Paul Yee and Jennifer Hanson for spearheading this event and props to the incredible Gitch who absolutely rocked the house with their amazing playing and good vibes last night.
Once again, thank you all, you make us proud to call Winnipeg home.

Streetheart 2026.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our dear friends and fans across Canada and around the world.
All of us in the Streetheart family have much to be grateful for this year and we want to thank each and every one of you who were able share some good times and music with us over the course of this past summer and throughout this year, a year that marked the band's 50th Anniversary. An incredible milestone and one that we want to thank you all for helping us achieve. We could not have arrived here without your incredible loyalty and support these past 50 years!
We look forward to seeing many of you again in the coming months and onwards into 2027.
To continue to have the opportunities we have to play our music across this big country of ours for all our friends and fans is a great gift for us; a reminder of just how lucky we are to live in Canada, for all the privileges and freedoms that we enjoy as proud Canadians.🇨🇦
We want to extend our very best wishes to you and to all your loved ones and we hope that you all have a safe and happy holiday weekend.

This is a selfie that Chris Sutherland took after one of our first shows with him. We liked it so much it became our promo photo. I think it captures a great vibe and the rejuvenated feeling Streetheart had at this point. Thanks Chris! You were a huge part of this band.

RIP Sass Jordan
All of us in the Streetheart family are deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the sudden passing of one of Canada's premiere recording artists and live performers, Sass Jordan.
We know there are no words of comfort we can express that would ease the pain of this terrible loss but we humbly extend our deepest sympathies to all of Sass' family and musical family and of course, our heartfelt condolences to Sass' loving husband Derek Sharp and their daughter Stella. 💜💜
We have been fortunate enough to have shared the stage a number of times over the years with Sass and she has consistently been a dynamic, inspiring and compelling presence onstage and it is always obvious by the reaction from the fans that she was/is deeply loved and appreciated, which is exactly what she gave back to her fans.
We are grateful to know that Sass crossed over gently, surrounded by her loving family.

We have blessed to have had so many great players contribute to the legacy of this band over the past 50 years.
Players who have and who continue to keep the musical bar set as high as possible.
Thank you Chris Sutherland for being the inspirational player and human that you have always been.
We all miss you and you will always be an integral part of our family.

With respect to all parties, we have no further comment on the CBC Streetheart story released today until we have had an opportunity to speak with counsel.
Suffice to say, there are two sides to every story.
We will respond to this appropriately and in a timely fashion.
