We are excited to introduce our new product: photo magnets! We’ve received great feedback, and to thank you, we’re holding a fun giveaway just for you!

Every unit has a fridge or a special spot for these magnets. Let’s fill them with those special photos from your staff bonding moments! Remember how fun it was to hang out together outside of work? Let’s capture those memories!

Thanks to our Psychiatric Nurses.

As a psychiatric nurse, their tasks will depend on where they work, the training they’ve had, and their patients' needs.

We’re lucky that one of their nurses shared this with us to educate us about few of the everyday things they do in this role:

Assess patient status.
Provide and coordinate care based on treatment and nursing care plans.
Provide counselling and lead therapeutic groups.
Give medications and assess for responses and side effects.
Teach patients coping skills and self care.
Provide health promotion and maintenance.
Provide case management
Practice crisis intervention and stabilization.
Educate patients and families.
