This is Callen, my youngest of three darling daughters, on the occasion of showing off a tomato she'd discovered with a shnazzola, which she promptly graced with the happy face doodle. Some fifteen years after that moment, I created this canvas and called it Sunny. It won a place in the 2019 juried exhibition of Manitoba Society of Artists.
She has brought so much sunshine into this world, and wouldn't you know she is already a force in the art world.
