Assiniboine Park Railroad A beautiful 24 inch scale American 4-4-0 style Steam Train. Brought to Assiniboine Park in 1964 by Peter Bazunis. Owned and operated by Tim Buzunis since 1988.

Its the only real live coal burning steam train that operates in a city park in Canada!

We are watching the weather closly today Satuday Sept 5th and will confirm if we are opening today ASAP. We wont be open for noon but plan to open for 2 pm!!

The train is Open today Sept 2ond and will be open Daily through the week and over the labour day weekend including Monday. Then the train will only be operating on weekends after that.
