The storyline of Second Wind follows five Ukrainian veterans who, after severe injuries and amputations, took on an incredible challenge — climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. This is more than just a movie! It’s about the strength of spirit, recovery, and the inner resource that emerges precisely when it feels like nothing is left.

Following each screening, there will be a live Q&A session with the project team:
▪️ Oleksandr Pedan — co-founder and host of the project.
▪️ Vladyslav ‘Shatya’ Shatil — the documentary’s protagonist and a veteran.
Every audience member will have an opportunity to ask questions and hear personal stories about the journey from injury to the peak of Kilimanjaro.
⚡️ Proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising Auction will go towards the rehabilitation of Ukrainian veterans through the Canada-Ukraine Foundation’s initiatives. The Foundation funds comprehensive programs for the physical and mental recovery of Ukrainian defenders.
