Halfway there! The stormy sky just needs a few finishing touches and the main focus now is the golden fields. At this stage the main shadow and texture patterns are blocked in and lots more detail work to come.

This is one of my favorite pieces! It was a welcome challenge and a thrilling journey. I went for a monochromatic look to really bring out the contrast between the dark clouds and the heat lightning. Enjoy!
