🎴 Success is a journey. Mastery is a journey.

🎴 Success and mastery aren't something you achieve just once and then you're done.

🎴 Success doesn't last forever, and neither do failures.

🎴 It's like climbing a mountain; once you reach the top, you have to keep working to stay there.

🎴 Nothing in life comes without effort or for free.

🎴 Believe in yourself and keep moving forward.

🎴 Always try to become better every day.

🎴 We all face the end of life eventually, so make your time count.

🎴 If you only focus on reaching a goal, you might miss out on what makes life special – the journey itself!

✊ LIFE IS ABOUT CREATING YOURSELF.

πŸ”» This progression outlines the journey from forming an intention to making something an integral part of your identity. It illustrates how actions and behaviors can evolve over time:

πŸ’  Intention: It starts with a conscious decision or intention to do something. This is the initial thought or desire to adopt a certain behavior or practice, and it's the easiest part...

πŸ’  Behavior: After setting the intention, you begin to put it into action. You actively engage in the behavior associated with your intention. It's a deliberate effort at this stage.

πŸ’  Habit: Over time, with consistent repetition of the behavior, it can become a habit. Habits are actions that you do almost automatically, often without conscious thought. They are part of your routine.

πŸ’  Practice: As the behavior continues and you work on it regularly, it becomes a practiced skill or activity. You refine your abilities and may even seek to improve them.

πŸ’  Second Nature: After extensive practice and repetition, the behavior becomes ingrained in your way of life. It feels natural and requires little effort. It becomes a part of your daily routine or mindset.

πŸ’  Identity: Ultimately, the behavior becomes so deeply ingrained that it defines a part of who you are. It's no longer just something you do; it's a fundamental aspect of your character and identity.

πŸ’  Choosing to quit carries its own kind of pain. It's the acknowledgment that a certain endeavor, goal, or situation may not align with our desires or capabilities. It can bring a sense of disappointment, the weight of unfulfilled potential, and questions about what might have been.

πŸ’  On the other hand, opting to keep going doesn't negate pain either. In fact, it can bring its own set of struggles. The persistence required to overcome obstacles, face setbacks, and endure hardships can be physically and emotionally demanding. Yet, within this discomfort lies the potential for growth, learning, and the eventual triumph that comes from pushing through.

πŸ’  Ultimately, this phrase speaks to the complexity of decision-making and the individual nature of our experiences. It acknowledges that the choice is never easy and that both paths hold their own challenges and discomforts. It's a reminder that pain, in some form, is often an unavoidable companion on the journey of life, whether we choose to persevere or let go.

πŸ’  In moments of such contemplation, it's important to reflect on our values, goals, and aspirations. Whether we decide to continue forward or take a different route, recognizing the validity of our emotions and the challenges involved is a crucial step toward making a choice that aligns with our well-being and personal growth.

What are your thoughts about this?

πŸ’  To me one of the greatest benefits of practicing martial arts, is the strengthening of the character, by learning to respond by acting (either by being mature enough to win a fight without fighting, or by being composed if you’re under pressure) instead of counteracting or overacting.

πŸ’  Furthermore, the martial arts experience conditions our mind, and nervous system to react better in stressful situations.

πŸ’  It’s true that we can’t control the increased blood flow, dialed pupils, muscle contractions etc, when our Sympathetic System kicks in. However, martial arts train us to improve how we act to these physical, hormonal, and psychological changes.
