There wasn’t a dry eye in the theatre. 🥹✨

Caelen McMillan delivered a breathtaking rendition of “When She Loved Me.” Her voice is effortlessly smooth, warm, and full of emotion—the kind that makes an entire room fall completely silent.

Many people know this song from Toy Story 2, where it accompanies one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the film. What you may not know is that it was recorded by Canadian icon Sarah McLachlan specifically for the movie’s soundtrack, making it the perfect addition to our celebration of Canadian music.

We’re so grateful that Caelen shared her incredible talent with us. If you were there that night, you know exactly why this performance has stayed with us. ❤️

These songs won't be performed again at another Cover Girl Tributes show. While we may revisit a theme someday, this exact collection of performances belongs to True North Voices and to the incredible local artists who made each song their own. ✨

Two photos. One unforgettable night. ❤️

Just a few hours before showtime, the weather had us wondering what the evening might look like. Then, despite the torrential rain and storms, you showed up.

To everyone who bought a ticket, braved the weather, cheered, laughed, clapped, and gave our performers a standing ovation—thank you.

We’re endlessly proud of every artist who shared this stage. Months of preparation, courage, and heart came together in a celebration of Canadian music that we’ll never forget.

And to everyone who continues to support local performers, musicians, and live theatre: you make nights like this possible. Every ticket, every applause, every shared post matters more than you know.
