This October, we honour a tradition that means so much to our team — suiting up in pink to recognize Cancer Awareness Month.

This year, we proudly dedicate our Cancer Awareness Game to Coach Carl Olender and his wife, Georgina Olender — two extraordinary individuals whose strength, resilience, and love for hockey have shaped generations.

Coach Carl’s legacy in Windsor hockey is unmatched, and Georgina’s courageous journey through breast cancer reminds us why we play with heart, purpose, and unity. Her story is a hopeful one, and with continued support for cancer research, we strive for more happy endings — for every family facing this fight.
🗓️ This OCTOBER 24th, please join us at Central Park Athletics (CPA) for our Charity Game: Windsor U14AAA vs. Sun County Panthers U14AAA

Throughout the month, we’ll be raising funds in support of cancer research and local support programs, helping those in our community who continue to battle.
We’re gratefully accepting cash donations, and e-transfers can be sent. Every contribution makes a difference.

Together, we play for something bigger — for hope, for healing, and for every family touched by cancer.

Congratulations to Konnor Smith, who has been signed for a three-year entry-level contract beginning in the 2025-26 NHL season with the Anaheim Ducks!

Konnor is a Windsor hockey player who attended Corpus Christi Middle School Sports Academies operated at Central Park Athletics, as well as being an alumni of both the Windsor AAA Zone (now known as the Windsor Jr Spitfires) and the Windsor Minor Hockey located at Central Park Athletics in Windsor, Ontario.
