My family and I immigrated to Canada when I was 4 years old and one of the first things my mom bought when we arrived was a sewing machine. I would cut up random fabrics around the house like bed sheets and my own clothes and play around with my moms sewing machine.
I’m 21 now and not much has changed. I still cut up old pieces of clothing and remake them into more exciting things. Sewing and fashion has always been one of my favourite creative outlets. I’m constantly thinking about fabrics and textures and colours. Over the years, through lots of practice, I’ve gotten good enough to make my own clothes from start to finish. I’m still working and improving my skills. This page is a portfolio of all my sewing projects, rework projects or outfits I wear.
