Join us indoors for a free screening of DESPICABLE ME tomorrow!

Looking for a fun indoor activity this weekend? Experience Windsor's FREE City Cinema offers the perfect family outing tomorrow morning. Presented in partnership with the Windsor International Film Festival, tomorrow's feature is Despicable Me, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Windsor Armouries. Admission is FREE, and so is the popcorn (while supplies last)! It's another great opportunity to enjoy a family-friendly Experience Windsor event and make the most of summer right here in Windsor.

WIFF is an international festival, but we’re big on local films too. Last year, we awarded the first ever Best Local Short prize to local filmmaker Michael J. Krym for his short, CLICK BANG BOOM.

We can’t wait for WIFF 2026, and to celebrate another year of great local and Canadian filmmaking.
