Windsor Junction Community Centre (WJCC) provides summer fun for the communities of Lakeview, Windsor Junction and Fall River. We are dedicated to providing summer recreation for youth in a safe and educational environment. We offer programs such as: children's day camps, swimming lessons, leadership and other aquatic programs. The facility boasts two baseball fields - including The Dan Franklin M

emorial field is equipped with lights. Plus a lakefront beach, brand new children's playground and a new field house. The facility is open to residents from May to the end of September, from dawn to dusk. Access
The facility is open to residents of Windsor Junction and to LWF ratepayers. Proof of residency is required for access to the facility and programs. Our programs are:

Junior Day Camp ( Ages 5 to 9)

Senior Day Camp (Ages 9 to 12)

Red Cross Swimming Lessons ( All ages , group or private lessons and even adult lessons ! )

Jr. Guards ( Level 8 or higher in Red Cross swimming lessons)

Lifesaving courses ( Bronze Star, Medallion and Cross)

Friday was the last day of another fun and successful summer at camp.

Thank you to all our campers and families for hanging out with us for the summer and a big thank you to the WJCC management and staff. Have a great year at school.

With the closing of camp, just a reminder that our guards will no longer be on the beach and our email and page will be monitored periodically by the WJCC Board.

Congratulations to Aria, our Keloose Cash 50/50 winner!

In an incredibly generous gesture, Aria donated her winnings right back to the WJCC to help us reach our goal of purchasing a new swing set for the centre. We are so grateful for her generosity and support of our community!

We have a limited amount of time left to raise the funds for the swing set, and there are still a few days left to get your tickets in our August online 50/50.

This afternoon, we gathered with friends, family, and campers to celebrate our friend Bussy.
Charles "Bussy" Grimes was a familiar face at WJCC every summer, helping make sure campers had a clean, safe, and fun place to enjoy. Bussy loved being around the kids just as much as they loved seeing him.
Over the years, Bussy's birthday became a camp tradition, celebrated with plenty of fun and cake. This year a bench was added in his honour.
Bussy's sister, Barb, along with his niece Heather and his nephew Dave and wife Sandra, joined us to see the bench and enjoy some cake together. Dave spoke about Bussy and his love of nature, his family, and WJCC.
If you have a chance, come down and take a seat on Bussy's bench and enjoy the view down the lane, just as he often did.
