A community builder and fundamental presence in the local music scene, Rebelle is co-founder of the local underground electronic music collective . Our feature act this week is In My Bones, a three-piece band born in the wilds of Bella Coola, BC, where rugged landscapes and lived-in stories shape their bold, brutally honest sound. Fronted by longtime songwriting duo Buddy Thatcher and Rose Clark, the band dives headfirst into the beautiful disasters of being human. With five singles under their belt — including Allan, a CBC Searchlight semi-finalist — Bud & Rose have toured across BC and even hopped the pond to play shows in France, Switzerland, Germany, England, and Ireland. Basically, if there’s a stage and a half-decent sound system, they’ll play it. Expect heart, attitude, and a beat strong enough to keep the rest of the band in line. In My Bones is back, louder, tighter, and rowdier than ever. Join us this Thursday, August 20 at 6PM in Boitanio Park for this musical treat!

Rich n Beka are both from the Tsilhqot’in Nation. A decade deep in the culture: two voices, one sound. Hip-hop with heart, grit, and no filter. Rich n Beka, AKA Richard MacDonald (Rich Mac), Rebecca Solomon (Beka Solo) thrive to be the strong meaningful voices of the Tsilhqot’in people, where they are both from. Both are talented hip-hop lyricists, music producers, DJ’s and editing engineers. This dynamic duo combine their unique gifts into an organic production that we'll find on the stage next Thursday, August 20 at 6PM. Come check them out!

Sta-Well is family-owned and operated and have been in the same location since they first opened. Bruce Mattson took over Sta Well Health Foods in 1977. He built the store up into the fantastic place that it is today. Full of love and laughter, Bruce had a generous heart. He visited with everyone who walked through the store door, whether they were paying customers or just friends looking to chat. He loved the Cariboo-Chilcotin and Bella Coola Valley. If you couldn’t find him in the store, he was often out on a lake fishing or spending time with his daughters. Bruce passed away Christmas Eve of 2020. His spirit remains at the store through the staff, the customers and family that loved him.

Sta-Well Health Foods is still family owned and operated and will continue to serve the community for years to come! In December of 2025, they doubled the size of the store with an expansion! With this expansion we have been able to explore new products and bring in more options for customers to enjoy!
