Indigenous women in business. We spoke our dreams out loud, carried the vision in our hearts, and now we are finally walking the path we once only talked about. Sometimes all it takes is courage to make that leap and trust in what Creator placed within us.

There is no one I would rather take this journey with than my best friends, my cousins, my sisters the women who lift me up, stand beside me, and walk with me through every season of life. Together we are building, healing, creating, and showing our youth what strong Indigenous women can do when we move as one.

I love you ladies so much. What an incredible opening. Hands up to everyone who came by to support us, encourage us, and celebrate this moment with us. Our hearts are full.

5:30 today!!

Tonight is the night.

We’re so excited to finally welcome everyone into our new space for our Grand Opening.

Please note:
We will be asking everyone to wait outside the shop at 5:30 PM as the opening drumming will take place in front of the storefront first. Once the drumming and ribbon cutting are complete, we will welcome everyone inside together.

What to expect:
5:30 PM – Opening drumming outside the shop
5:40 PM – Ribbon cutting
5:45 PM – Doors open and everyone comes inside

Refreshments • Snacks • Giveaways • Draws • Shopping

There is also a rumour there will be lemonade.

We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone tonight.

Williams lake!! We are so excited to be opening our doors ❤️

Grand Opening

After late nights creating, planning, sewing, building, we’re excited to finally open the doors to our new studio space.

Join us on May 14 for an evening of new drops, in store shopping, workshop sign up, and an opening ceremony with drumming and ribbon cutting.

We’ll have new ribbon skirts, ribbon shirts, apparel, and more available in store. We will also have new design drops.

This space will be home to By Your Favorite Aunties and Innovative Indigenous Creations production, pop ups, and small sewing classes where we’ll be teaching ribbon skirts, shirts, regalia, and beading.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone in.

When we come together, good things happen. 🪶✨

Our partnership with Dana from Innovative Indigenous Creations is rooted in more than business! it’s about coming together to sew, teach, and share our knowledge with others.

Each time we gather around the fabric and ribbons, we’re reminded that creation is ceremony, a way to honour our grandmothers, our stories, and the next generation learning beside us.

We’re proud of the work we do together, and even prouder of the teachings carried in every stitch.

As we look ahead to the new year, we’re excited to continue this journey and are open to teaching ribbon skirt classes for communities, schools, organizations, and anyone wanting to learn who want to bring culture and creativity into their spaces.
