Cafe des Voix Café des Voix is a showcase of Whitehorse-based vocalists performing jazz, blues and Broadway. And for audiences, a sweet evening is always in store.

Café des Voix is a two hour showcase of local vocalists performing mainly jazz repertoire, with a touch of blues, Broadway and more. The initiative stems from the tremendous success of JazzYukon’s vocal jazz workshop series with Karin Plato and Steve Maddock. Pianist Grant Simpson was the original creator of Cafe des Voix, and accompanied the singers for the first few years. Currently, singers per

form with jazz pianist Annie Avery and sometimes with bassists and other instrumentalists. This is a wonderful opportunity for singers to try new songs - or relax into familiar ones.

That's a wrap on The Guild 'Round Back! We were worried about the weather, but the rain went away, everyone snuggled down under blankets, and we all had a marvellous time!
