Sigil Theatre Spellbinding Stories Led by Yukon Playwright, Director, and Producer Brandon Wicke, Sigil is excited to bring boundary-pushing performances to the Yukon.

Sigil Theatre Fellowship is a registered Yukon non-profit that exists to produce high-quality, evocative, and ambitious theatrical productions, and to support the professional development of Yukon playwrights, performers, and theatre artists. Our regular programming will include mainstage productions, adjudicated performance opportunities for local theatre groups, radio theatre productions, and community-focused storytelling projects.

Sigil Theatre is hosting their second annual Scene Study Circuit! Up to 5 participating groups from Whitehorse and beyond will receive a $750 honorarium, free rehearsal space, and access to free theatre workshops, as well as receiving detailed feedback on your scene from theatre professionals as you compete for a chance at our $1250 grand prize!

We have funding to help a group from a community outside of Whitehorse to travel for our showcase! Spots are limited, so reach out and secure your spot!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Sigil's inaugural Scene Study Circuit on July 27th! We saw two fantastic scenes, paid out more than $5000 to Yukon Artists, and crowned our champions with the help of our great adjudicators and savvy audience voters! Big thanks go to the Government of Yukon and Culture Quest, The Guild Hall, and to Lumel Studios for these beautiful one-of-a-kind trophies!

We're excited to announce our first project - the Sigil Scene Study Circuit! Five Yukon Groups will rehearse and perform short scenes during a public showcase this Summer, with an in-depth adjudication by Yukon Arts Professionals and a chance at our $1,250 grand prize!
