Tammy Wood upcycles clothing from local thrift stores and uses her own beautifully designed block prints to give them a new life. Watch for her collection at this year’s ReDesign Fair, which takes place one week from today at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre in Whitehorse. .wooddesigns

Janna Swales and Will Powell, through their company Yukon Plastics, are rescuing plastics from the waste stream one beautiful and practical item at a time. They’ll be selling their line of products at this year’s Re:Design Fair, taking place on Nov. 22nd at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre in Whitehorse. Their pieces make great gifts!

Patti Toole is famous in these parts for her mittens that she makes from well-loved wool sweaters. She’ll have a supply of these mitts for sale at this year’s Re:design Fair. She’ll also be selling purses and bags that she creates from used clothing such as suede skirts and jackets. Our fair is set for Saturday, Nov. 22nd at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre.
