This milestone is a testament to the passion, creativity, and dedication of our amazing community — artists, tour operators, cultural centres, and partners who continue to bring Yukon’s stories to life.

In 2024, the Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association proudly marked 30 years as a nonprofit dedicated to promoting and growing the Yukon’s arts, culture, and tourism sectors. We are deeply grateful to our community of artists, tour operators, cultural centres, and stakeholders for their unwavering support.

As we look to the future, we are re-envisioning YFNCT’s role in strengthening engagement, building partnerships, and amplifying Indigenous voices in tourism.

Due to changing circumstances, YFNCT has made the difficult decision to pause several longstanding cultural and tourism events to ensure the organization’s long-term sustainability. While these events are on hold, our commitment to fostering Indigenous stories, traditions, and creativity remains strong.

After careful consideration, the Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2024 Yúk'e Arts Market.

While we understand this may be disappointing, we are dedicated to refocusing our efforts to provide even stronger support for our artist community in the future. This choice allows us to concentrate on organizational priorities that will enhance YFNCT's ability to support our artists and bring more value in the long run.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support, and we look forward to future opportunities this will create.
