We at Midnight Sun Fireworks are proud to have competed alongside such talented teams and to have represented Yukon with pride and dedication. While we didn’t take home the top prize this time, our team is inspired by the level of talent and creativity showcased in this competition.

A big thank you to everyone who supported us—your encouragement means the world, especially to the Archangel Fireworks team for their camaraderie and support. We look forward to continuing to light up the skies and share our passion for fireworks!

Our “20,000 Leagues Under English Bay” show came with a surprise attack! 🦑💥

This giant squid—affectionately dubbed Squidward by the crew—rose from the depths to grab hold of the fireworks barge. We LOVE how it turned out and we’re thrilled to share this glimpse with you from Vancouver’s Celebration of Light! 🌊🎆

We are so excited and proud to be heading back to Celebration of Lights! Representing Canada in 2022 was truly an honor. Going back this year to represent our special home the Yukon will be extraordinary! Stay tuned more exciting news to follow.

We're kicking off the 2025 this summer with an all Canadian match up. First up we have Team Yukon: Midnight Sun Fireworks.
Returning HCOL Canadian Champions of 2022-Midnight Sun Fireworks is an award winning team of Yukon Pyrotechnicians, passionate about creating unique shows that bring life to the music in their soundtracks. Their playful displays are full of surprises and creative expressions that will surely captivate you.

We want to let everyone know that we won't be doing the Rendezvous Pyromusical this year. Taking a break this year was a very hard decision for us. This show is a huge undertaking and involves hundreds of volunteer hours to design, organize and implement. This year our family decided we don't have the capacity for it. Fear not, we still have a passion for Pyrotechnics and plan to be back at it in 2025. Enjoy the Rendezvous festivities this weekend! If you ever wondered what it's like up on the hill for the crew here is a video of a crew member hand lighting a shell right before the Finale during a New Years show.

These are the fine folks who braved the wind and cold to make the Rendezvous Pyromusical happen. Midnight Sun Fireworks is fully volunteer including the design and production. The set up and clean up takes five days in total. There is no way this show could happen without the dedication of our amazing Pyro Team. Midnight Sun designers Warren and Kiara want to send a HUGE thank-you to our crew for working with us to bring our creativity to life. Also, a massive thank-you to honorary crew Grace and the Sheardown family for watching our young children while we worked on site!
