✨ Dancing with Spirits in the Sky ✨
When I first got accepted for the YVR Art Foundation scholarship award I couldn't believe that my shawl I had envisioned won an award to be displayed in the Vancouver Airport. I felt ecstatic, scared out of my mind since it was my biggest accomplishment and honored to create a sacred embodiment for creativity and a call to let go.
Sometimes I forget to let go and just be.Dancing isn't just moving our bodies, it's releasing energy that no longer serves ourselves and making space for the light that does.
It is an invitation to be unafraid, to shed the weight of the world, and to finally connect with the deepest parts of yourself.
To dance beneath the stars, draped in the colors of our history, is a sacred act. As the Northern Lights ribbon across the dark, we aren’t just watching them—we are joining them. We dance with our ancestors, feeling their strength pull through our feet and rise through our spirits. It is a moment that feels heavy with memory, yet light with freedom.
Somber in its depth, yet radiant in its power. 🌌
