Congratulations to all the nominees of best local writers including our very own Rebekah MacEwan for writing last year’s hit Christmas Panto: The Snow Queen.

Congrats nominees!

Another new-to-you category this year, The OG recognizes local writers.

Despite there being 36 shows this season, only 4 were written by those in our theatre community. Though we technically don't have a full category this year, we'd still like to honour those who put in the time to write those scripts, and thank the companies for producing them. We'd like to see more of that.

Bill Ray (45) – Attractive and confident, Bill is a tad serious, though not without a wry sense of humour. A successful, divorced dentist from California, Bill is highly protective of his new life with Chelsea. Bill enters the story eager to make a good impression but refuses to be intimidated by Norman's bullying, growing from an outsider into an assertive, respected equal in the family ecosystem.
