I’m looking to name this new collection. Any ideas?
These plates are made with Polar Ice porcelain, it is a bright white translucent clay that allows me to use stains as watercolour paints. I then add a little carving and they are finished with a durable clear glaze. The inspiration is the rainforest where I live.

I’m so happy with how this platter turned out and the final shape. Perhaps I’ll make another.

I will have new work on the North Shore for a month starting Nov 14th. It’s a beautiful space filled to the brim with great gifts. Hope you can drop in.

I’ve been working on lots of animals of the Salish Sea pieces and trying out a new grey slip.
