Hello everyone!
Sorry for the delay but I was advised to wait until the school board official statement before posting this update. As I am sure most of you are aware, extracurricular activities that are offered indoors will not being going ahead as of now and will be re-evaluated mid/late September. This means we will not be able to use our space for the time being.
However, with the hope that we will be able to have in-person classes later on in the fall I have decided to follow other dance schools and hold virtual classes until we can get back. These classes will be held over Zoom or Google Meet- an email will be sent out within the next week for registered students about how this will work.

If you registered for the Spring session your fees will be transferred to this session and costumes fees will remain on your account until we can order them for the recital.

There is still availabilities in some classes so if you are a new student feel free to message about getting in on the fun!

If there are any questions about remote classes or you could like to opt out of the Fall session please private message me.

Hello Everyone. Thank you for your patience during this stressful time. We have decided to cancel both classes and the recital for the Spring term. While we are heartbroken that it has come to this, it is the safest option for our students and their families.
However, in light of this, we will be instead of having our recital in the Fall 2020 term- starting in September and the recital being sometime in December. All class and costume fees paid for this term will be transferred to Fall 2020.

Hello Everyone. As I am sure most of you are aware by now, due to the safety precautions in place to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, recreational activities have been cancelled for the time being. Even though we are not to start for another month and a half I still feel we should all do our part to stay safe at this time. For this reason I will be cancelling our costume fitting on March 29th and asking you all to measure your dancers at home and send me their measurements in inches. I will need measurements for the bust, waist, hips, inseam, and torso.
I will be sending away for our costumes on March 29th and will require measurements to be sent by then. Our recital costumes come from the USA so them getting here will depend on shipping regulations as well as the company’s plan to deal with the virus. In the event costumes cannot get here you will receive your costumes fees back ASAP.

In regards to classes and our recital: as of now everything will continue as scheduled. As the start date gets closer I will reevaluate to provide the best for our students health and safety. Newfoundland Arts and Culture Centres around the island are currently closed, this included the Princess Sheila Negeira Theatre. Our recital will also depend on if they will still allow for a show considering the number of students and audience members. Again, once I find out I will update you immediately.

I understand that this is a frustrating time for everyone and our main concern is that everyone stays safe. ☺️

Public registration opens today!!! There is still lots of way to be involved in our upcoming show and we’re so excited to see new and returning faces. Information regarding class times, class fees, and our show are below so please read everything.

To accommodate for a shorter term while still have the same amount classes, there will be some classes on Saturday’s as well as our regular Sunday’s. Saturday classes will be the same time as Sunday classes. We will have classes on the following dates;
April 26th, May 3rd, May 10th, May 17th, May 24th, May 31st, June 7th, June 14th, June 20th, June 21st, June 27th.
All classes will be at Whitbourne Elementary.

CLASS TIME/FEES
**** the $68 fee is for costumes
4-5 year old ballet: 11:00am-11:30am ($100+$68) FULL
6-7 year old ballet: 11:30am-12:00pm ($100+$68) FULL
6-8 year old hip hop: 12:00pm-12;45pm ($115+$68) FULL
9-12 year old hip hop: 12;45pm-1;45pm ($130+$68)
7+ year old modern: 1;45pm-2;30pm ($115+$68)
7+ year old tap: 2;30pm-3;15pm ($115+$68)
Final Dance (all ages) 3:15pm-4:30pm ($15-$68) ****this class will only rehearse June 20th, June 21st, and June 27th)

Fee's must be sent to [email protected] with the password "dance"

If you are interested in being a solo in the show contact me directly so we can make arrangements for rehearse times and fees.

EVERY STUDENT must come to Whitbourne Elementary on March 29th at 1:00pm for your costume fitting!! I will be ordering them that day therefore if I do not have your measurements or your fees paid in full by this date it will cost more for the costume as it will need to be specially delivered. I am ordering them this much in advance to guarantee they are here for the show as they are made in the USA. At the fitting you will also see the costumes you will get for the show and learn about the fund-raising will will be doing for our recital.

Our recital is at the Princess Sheila NaGeira Theatre in Carbonear on June 28th at 5:00pm. Dress rehearsal times for that day will be posted as the date get closer. I will also post when tickets go on sale, at which time you may buy them at the Box Office.

Hello Everyone! Below is ALL the information about registration for the spring session which will end with our recital ☺️ Heads up it’s a long post but has lots of very important information!

Registrations
Registration for returning students (those who were registered in Fall 2019) will open February 17th. THIS IS ONLY IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR THE SAME CLASS!
If you are joining a different class you can register February 24th! Any past students who are looking to come back can all register at this time.
Please note that if you are a returning student your spot will not be saved after February 24th.
Public registration for new students opens March 14th!
Registration will CLOSE March 28th!!!

Costumes
There will be a fitting for all students registered on March 29th at Whitbourne Elementary for our costumes. This is to ensure that our costumes will be here for the recital. Times TBA.
Costumes are $68 per costume and must be paid at time of registration.

Class Fees
Class fees will be the same as last session PLUS costumes fees. These are to be paid at the same time. If costume fees are not paid by March 29th there will be an added $20 charge for express shipping as costume will be ordered later.

Classes (Sundays)
11:00-11:30am...Ballet 4-5 y/o: $100
11:30-12:00pm...Ballet 6-7 y/o: $100
12:00-12:45pm...Hip Hop 6-8 y/o: $115
12:45-1:45pm...Hip Hop 9-12 y/o: $130
1:45-2:30pm...Modern 7+ y/o: $115
2:30-3:15pm...Tap 7+ y/o: $115
3:15-4:00pm...Latin Jazz 9+ y/o: $115

The start date will be announced at a later date but will be some time in April. As we get closer to the show there will be some Saturday rehearsals as well (at the same
time as their Sunday classes) so please make yourself available for those practices

This recital will also have more opportunities for students to be involved!!

There will be a finale dance that any student ages 6+ can sign up for (it will
be more jazzy but no jazz experience required)! There will be 3 1 hour long practices.
It is only $15 to be in this dance + another $68 for the costume

Recital
Our recital will be June 28th 2020. More information to come as we get closer to the date.

Hi Everyone. Tomorrow is our last class of the term which means parents are invited to watch our Christmas dances!! Please do not come in early as the girls will be rehearsing. The times of each classes performances are as follows;

4-5 y/o ballet: 11:25
6-7 y/o ballet: 11:55
6-8 y/o hip hop: 12:40
9-11 y/o hip hop: 1:40
7+ modern: 2:25
7+ tap: 3:10
9+ latin jazz: 3:55

Class will be at Whitbourne Elementary and keep in mind to use to SIDE DOOR on the right side/old high school end.
