Cape Buffalo are one of the most intimidating animals you’ll meet. Nicknamed “The Black Death” they are responsible for roughly 200 deaths a year.

Locking eyes with one of these bad tempered, 2000 pound beauties from 30ft away is 100x scarier than being in arms reach of a Lion.

We met this grumpy old bull living alone after driven from the herd by the younger males and you could tell he was still pi**ed about it. He death stared us until we were far enough away from him and honestly I don’t think he blinked the whole time.

Meet Sparky!

Pangolins are the most trafficked animals in the world, heavily targeted for their meat and scales. They are the only mammals on Earth covered entirely in tough scales made of keratin—the same protein that forms our own hair and fingernails.

The cooked thing is that an estimated 200,000 of these gentle, prehistoric creatures are taken from the wild every year, fueled by a high demand for luxury leather, exotic meat, and traditional medicine.

Sparky was rescued by the incredible team at Pangolin Conservation after being severely injured getting stuck in an electric fence. He was unable to walk properly and even lost use of his tongue which is vital for him to forage for termites and ants.

Thanks to the incredible dedication of the team and many months of daily vet checkups and rehabilitation, Sparky has now been released back into the wild where he is thriving!
