I hiked my holy trinity of lenses up the world’s tallest sand dune in Sossusvlei, Namibia, and was mesmerized by the shapes of the desert.

This is the craziest landscape I’ve ever seen and to see it after the rain with these huge lakes in the middle of the desert was hard to comprehend.

The hard truth is our wildlife is being wiped out at an alarming rate with over a million species listed as endangered.

We aren’t immune from these existential threats and we have a collective responsibility to do our best to prevent further loss of Earth’s biodiversity.

It’s hard to know how to truly help so for Endangered Species Day I’ve listed some of the incredible organizations that are doing amazing hands on work to save our at risk animals.
