On June 14 2025, Canada came together on one of our most historic stages to commemorate and celebrate OP's centennial! In what was a truly unforgettable evening, some of our finest talent brought their absolute best to the Massey Hall stage, joining forces and showcasing their own takes on OP's compositions, select beloved standards, and their own tunes, leaving the room vibrating with enthusiasm. With OP's cherished BĂśsendorfer piano on stage, the audience was treated to everything from a mesmerizing performance from Oliver Jones, to the incomparable showcase from Amanda Tosoff and the irreplaceable contribution of Robi Botos's take on OP's favourite tune he ever wrote, this evening was filled with moment after moment of heartfelt tribute and endless joy.

"This is the best way we ever could have honoured dad - with a celebration that showcases the talent we have right here at home. I have never been more proud to be a part of something in my entire life, and I will forever carry this evening with me as one of the greatest and most treasured memories in my heart. Thank you will never be enough." CĂŠline Peterson

If you would like to relive the magic of the evening (or if you have not yet had a chance to hear it), the entire concert is available to stream worldwide on CBC Music!

Our beautiful Tristan is graduating from high school this spring. Prom, commencement, a summer full of music workshops at the VSO School and Stratford Jazz Academy and the Vancouver Youth Jazz Orchestra and then off to the University of Toronto with a scholarship to start post secondary studies in jazz performance.

We are so excited for him - the next chapter is going to be amazing.

But we also feel like the time has gone by way too fast.
