Well, the 2026 Blue Suede music festival is a wrap! Last night after getting everything unloaded from the vehicles and into the house and then put away I was too exhausted to make this post.
This festival gets better every year, not just in talent and performances, but also in our ability to get it set up so efficiently. The people who are there for set up are so valuable, they know their jobs and things are getting done even if I have to leave the grounds to go pick things up. At the beginning, I was being called every five seconds to come and OK something and now that doesn’t happen!
There are so many people to think and if I start naming names, I’m going to miss someone and I definitely don’t want to do that….you know who you are and my gratefulness for you knows no bounds. My key group of people work their butts off this weekend and that includes my entire family- husband, five kids, their husbands and wives, six grandkids, my sister…. couldn’t do this without them. The other volunteers, whether you work one shift or four, or are available to do anything that is asked of you…. you are so appreciated!
My performers, what can I say about my performers! My gratitude and appreciation for what you do to stay at the top of your game is unlimited. Professional, dedicated, funny, loyal…. there’s truly not enough adjectives to describe you all. Your dedication to giving the best possible show to our fans who show up year after year after year is truly perfection
Andrew Martin, your talent is completely off the charts and I will be forever grateful for the event that led to us meeting, and you becoming a part of my Blue Suede family, and now Crooner Kings. I truly believe things happen for a reason and working with you now and many years into the future is a dream for me.
Kings4 Quartet, meeting Joe Combs at another Elvis event, and getting to know him led to him contacting me about the quartet he had just put together which led to them coming to Blue Suede and now forever being a part of my life. I will be eternally grateful for that. Joe, Brandon, Michael, Bobby, I hope you all had a good time at Blue Suede and want to come back, I miss you already!
And to our Blue Suede fans, thank you for supporting us year after year! There’s some festivals that after you’ve seen it once you don’t go back but this one has people coming back over and over again. And then you spread the word to other people so there’s always new ones coming. It’s amazing to see and from the bottom of my heart. I thank you for your support.
Thank you to our sponsors who show up for us year after year. Your cash and in-kind sponsorships are what enables us to keep this festival going. Without you we couldn’t do it so a simple thank you is never enough ❤️
Here’s a video for you to get started on my visual reporting of the weekend. Facebook doesn’t allow me to do videos and pictures in the same post so I will leave you with this performance of Angel Saucedo singing How Great Thou Art backed by the amazing Kings4 Quartet. More pictures and video to come!!!!
