From handmade crafts and artwork to baked treats, jewelry, slime, toys, and more, these amazing kids are learning real-world skills like creativity, confidence, responsibility, communication, and business building — all while having fun. The Beacon’s Buddies Kid Vendor Market gives children a safe, supportive space to showcase their passions, connect with the community, and experience what it’s like to run their very own small business. Beacon’s Buddies Saturday Night Market is a fun, family-friendly community market in West Kelowna that brings together local makers, small businesses, artists, bakers, creators, and families for an evening of shopping, connection, and community spirit, including a SPECIAL inner Kid's Market! Running throughout July and August from 4PM–9PM at 3591 Elliott Road, the market features unique local vendors, handmade goods, treats, live community energy, and a welcoming atmosphere designed to help local businesses shine while creating memorable experiences for families of all ages. Hosted by Beacon’s Family FUNdation Society, the market supports creativity, connection, and stronger community relationships through inclusive, positive events everyone can enjoy.

💗 Pink Shirt Day 💗

Today we celebrate Pink Shirt Day as a community! This special day is a reminder that we all have a role in standing up against bullying and choosing kindness, inclusion, and respect.

Our Art Kids wear pink to show that we stand together and support one another. Let’s work together to create a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for everyone. This is why expanding and building the is so important as a safe place for those youth in our community to gather and feel part of a bigger family with other kids who have got their back. Our kids know we’ve got them.
