MiniWarGaming is DOWNSIZING. Ravaged Star is over 2 years delayed. People are demanding answers! Which is why I’ll be presenting “How I F$@ #%& up MiniWarGaming” tonight at 7:01 PM on the 1st floor in the SHAW Room. Watch the reel to see how to get here.

And it’s because of her I’m here in the first place. She’s the reason why I love playing games. Thank you mom.

Gaming board. Agree or disagree?

When I see a “miniature” such as a Tau Manta I don’t think “wow, what a cool mini.” I think “that’s a terrain piece I could play a mission on.” IT’S HUGE! Like ridiculously so.

When I saw this model while visiting my friends over at Play On Tabletop, I couldn’t help myself… I just HAD to pick it up myself and see how heavy it was. It’s heeeeeavy. So the next time you get the chance the pick one up, you’ll see for yourself. But fair warning: you might “accidentally” break off a weapon to two like it did. Cuz y’know… Tau with less ranged attacks is always a good thing. They don’t need more ranged superiority. They have enough options as it is right? (I can hear the collective voices of the Tau disagreeing with me) but Khorne cares not from whence the smack talk towards Tau flows…😉

The “model placing” shanty performed by JD from The Longest Johns and .

JD dropped by the studio while on his Canada tour of the . I was in the middle of setting up my massive Blood Angel army when he suggested we sing a sea shanty while we worked. Apparently, the purpose of a sea shanty is the get the crew members of a ship to sing as they worked to help them be more productive.

This was such a fun experience I’m glad the moment was caught on camera and I’ve decided to share it with other enthusiasts to help them get the work done!

Here are 12 traits I took away from the study about the psychology of Wargamers I read. I feel like these traits pretty much sum us up. Maybe each of us wargamers don’t possess all of these traits at once, but I bet most of us would score high on most. You be the judge. How many of these ring true to you? For me, I score high on all but one.
