✨ Introducing Our Junior & Intermediate Dancers! ✨

This season, our Junior and Intermediate dancers are stepping into something special! These talented dancers will be learning, growing, performing, and creating together throughout the season. These two groups will dance together as they continue to build confidence, artistry, technique, and a love for dance.

There is something so exciting about watching dancers grow not only as individuals, but also as a team. We can’t wait to see the friendships, memories, and beautiful moments they create together this year!

A huge thank you to the Hopewell Highlands for opening up your beautiful venue to our dancers this week so we could capture their Team Photos! We are so grateful for your support of our dancers and our growing dance community. 💙💚

✨ Meet Our Guest Instructors for the Next Wave! ✨

We are so excited to welcome two amazing guest instructors to Next Wave starting August 24th to August 28th.

Movi Movement will be joining us to introduce our dancers to the benefits of Pilates, helping them build strength, control, stability, and body awareness.

Ellyn Smith, who currently studies at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, will be joining us to share her training, experience, and passion for dance with our dancers!

Our Next Wave Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM–4:30 PM.

The first team reveal is here!  Meet our Elite Team! This group of dancers have been working hard in the studio over the past two weeks, learning, growing, challenging themselves, and building new friendships along the way.

We cannot wait to watch these dancers grow throughout the season as we train hard, dream big, and have lots of fun along the way! 💪🏼💙💚

We are so excited to open our doors to our Pointe Taken Dance Community for Season 2!

Classes begin Saturday, September 12th!

At Pointe Taken Dance, we are a community. We strive to always put our dancers first, creating a space where they feel supported, encouraged, and confident to be themselves. We challenge our dancers to grow, work hard, and step outside their comfort zones, while making sure they are having fun along the way.

Some of our classes are already FULL, with waitlists beginning, so don’t wait until it’s too late to secure your spot.

Whether your dancer is brand new to dance or returning for another year, we can’t wait to have them be part of our PTD family!

✨Elite Dance Camp Begins Today!✨

Meet your guest instructors!

We’re thrilled to welcome Codi, who has travelled all the way from Thunder Bay to spend the week teaching and inspiring our dancers!

We’re also excited to welcome two incredible instructors from Movi who will be joining us to teach Pilates and help our dancers build strength, control, and body awareness.

It’s going to be an amazing week of dancing, learning, growing, and having FUN! We can’t wait to get started! 💙💚

✨ The Voices Within ✨

Today, some of our Pointe Taken dancers had the incredible opportunity to dance in downtown Moncton as part of “The Voices Within,” a meaningful community project created by Mount Allison student Emily Leblanc in collaboration with Graystone Counselling & Consulting.

The project encourages children to pause, recognize the thoughts they carry, and learn that difficult thoughts are okay to have. Most importantly, it creates space for conversations about confidence, compassion, mental wellness, and how we speak to ourselves.

What made today especially meaningful was that this piece was created by our dancers themselves. Each dancer contributed movement inspired by their own inner dialogue, thoughts, and feelings. They explored how to express those ideas through movement, and Miss Emma helped bring all of their individual choreography together, blending their movements into one collective piece. We are so proud of each and every dancer who shared their voice today. 💙💚

At Pointe Taken Dance, we believe dance is about more than learning steps. It is about creating a space where dancers can express themselves, find confidence, connect with others, and discover their own voice.

✨ Last week, we had an absolute BLAST at our Future Force Dance Camp!✨

Our dancers had so much fun learning new styles, trying new moves, making memories, and showing off what they learned with a special performance for their friends and family! 💙💚

Thank you Miss Nadia for joining our team and for teaching our dancers Hip Hop!

A HUGE thank you to our 5 amazing assistants who worked hard behind the scenes and helped make camp run so smoothly. We couldn’t have done it without you Miss Annabelle, Miss Ellie, Miss Evelyn, Miss Jayda, and Miss Rowan!

We are so excited for our Future Force Dance Camp starting next week!

We have a full week of fun planned, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Acro. It’s going to be an amazing week filled with dancing, creativity, and new friendships!
