Announcing our 2026-27 charity partner: COMPASS Refugee Centre

Each year we recognize a local charity’s service to our community by highlighting their efforts. We are thrilled to share that our 2026-27 Charity Partner will be COMPASS Refugee Centre.

COMPASS Refugee Centre notes that:

“From the border to belonging, COMPASS Refugee Centre walks alongside refugees navigating a complex and uncertain system so that no one has to face the journey to safety alone. We are grateful to the KW Chamber Orchestra for being a valued partner in advancing Courageous Welcome this season.”

With our 2025-26 season finale behind us, it must be acknowledged that it was a great pleasure to work with our 2025-26 charity partner The Working Centre.

Each year we pair with another regional charity that we feel deserves to be highlighted on a bigger stage because of their service to our community.

The Working Centre is an integral part of the social service fabric of Kitchener-Waterloo, with integrated projects that create access to tools for those without work, those without housing and the most vulnerable.

We were so thrilled to partner with them this season!
