Bill Mason’s WATERWALKER is back, now in 4k 🛶🌟

A Canadian classic originally shot on Kodak Ektachrome 16mm negative film has been digitally restored to 4k — launching Nationally at the Princess Twin Cinemas on November 12!

Join us for a post-screening Q&A opportunity with two special guessts: Becky Mason, accomplished canoeist, and passionate environmentalist, writer and speaker & Bill Mason biographer James Raffan (Fire in the Bones). The Q&A will follow both screenings.

“One of the reasons we approached the NFB about restoring Bill Mason’s WATERWALKER is because it has earned its place as a modern Canadian cinema classic. Now beautifully restored in 4K for the 40th anniversary of its theatrical release, we are delighted to have played a small part in the return of this landmark film to the big screen.” — John Tutt, Founder and Owner of the Princess Cinemas 🌟

📣 “A Canadian odyssey of reverence for natural beauty” - The Globe and Mail

📣 “A mesmerizing meditation on humanity’s place in the cosmic scheme. Overlooked Canadian Gem” - Toronto Star
