We've been nurturing a small flamenco community in the KW area for the past 10-years and we're eager to get more people involved. Come try a class and join local flamenco fans to learn more about this unique dance form and music style. We host student shows, socials, an annual flamenco festival, and have fun as we chisel away at this craft. So, put your dancing shoes and ruffles on and get ready to "werk!"

Absolute beginners
Saturdays, 11 AM - 12:15 PM
Starting September 12th

Experienced flamenques
Thursdays, 6 PM - 7:15 PM
Starting September 10th

*The above lessons are divided up into fall, winter, spring and summer terms but run all year round with the material being cumulative

Flamenco kids
- A special trial run
Saturdays, 10 AM - 10:45 AM
September 10th to October 8th only
* Please email [email protected] to let us know if your child is interested in flamenco dance lessons and what their age is

* All classes are held at Neruda Arts studio/gallery (8 Spring Street) in the village of St Jacobs, steps from the #21 bus stop and proximal to free street parking

*All classes will run if the minimum amount of registrants is met

Looking forward to special performances by the students of and other fun, interactive activities, including a follow-along movement meditation led by .kim and glitter tattoos by . We'll have vendors including .rossmackart and . Fun for the whole family!

Many of our vendors will be ready to go by 6:30pm so come early to peruse, grab a bite, and claim your seat (there is no assigned seating).

Regrettably, we have had to cancel today's student show on account of some unforeseen circumstances. However, KW's local flamenco students will still be performing this summer, during our main event at Waterloo Public Square on July 26th. So, come on out that day to catch our guest artists and show our local flamenco some love!

¡The 2026 Little KW Flamenco Fest!

Our free open-air concert at Waterloo Public Sqaure will be on Sunday, July 26th from 7-10pm.

Juneyt lovers won't be disappointed! He'll be gracing entrancing us with his music off the top of the show.

David Sinclair fans, come on out to watch David accompany dance, song, and of course, to hear him solo.

This year we have talented flameco Makeda Benitez and singer Fernando Gallego joining us, as well as Joaquin Nuñez on percussion (and yours truly, CalúJules, as always).

There's more to look forward to as well, including food and drinks, vendors, and an interactive activity at intermission.

Also, if you know any local flamenco practitioners, don't forget to come on out to Neruda Arts on July 4th at 1pm for our local Student Showcase. Let's show them some love.

Heads up Flamenco Fans! The F for Flamenco Festival is coming up in just 1-week in Toronto and they have numerous wouldn't-wanna-miss-it events, including a sherry tasting event with live music, dance, and a screening or Latcho Drom, as well as a sizzling show with an all-women cast, including Antonia Jimenez on guitar and Myriam Allard dancing.
