What an amazing evening last night with the Baden Storyteller's Guild! We celebrated in honour of World Storytelling Day gliding through Epics, Myths, and Legends. The tellings were thoughtful, humourous and spellbinding. I'm also really happy with our motif of lamps and lanterns tied the evening together, by each teller bringing the flame of their story forward to share. Thank you to everyone who told, helped and came to listen! Even one of the skulls from Baba Yaga's cottage made an appearance. Not too shabby if I do say so myself! Alas poor Yorick, it was a late night - sleep well sweet prince!

I can't believe how quickly the last 7 months have gone by! There are just two Kinderconcert performances left! I have been so lucky have a chance to work with such amazing musicians and personnel from the K-W Symphony, and am so happy with how the collaboration has turned out. Thank you also to The Baden Storytellers Guild family, for their support and encouragement in this project. The final presentations of "The Most Beautiful Bird" will be tomorrow, April 28th at the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts, and May 5th at the Waterloo Regional Museum, 10:30 am each date. This story is the first I ever began telling, so it is very close to my heart - a great way to wrap up the series, and welcome back all the birds of spring!

This weekend I will be keeping warm by the fire telling stories as I return to Winterloo. This will be the 15th anniversary of the event and I am very excited to be a part of it again. First I would love to give a shout out to Better Beginnings Waterloo for inviting me out for Snowfest on February 10th. So many creative energized people all in one space was uplifting to the soul. The families, kids, and organizers were all in high spirits celebrating being together!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe how fast the last few weeks have disappeared! I am expanding my educational horizons currently, so my focus on keeping this page updated has suffered. There is so much going on in February and March so I will try and get you, my dear friends, updated on the following posts because really - that is what you do on a rainy day in February.
