The production team of Waterloo is excited to announce our cast!

Rutuja Topkhanewale as Izzy
Originally from India, Rutuja (she/her) spent time in Alberta before making Kitchener her home. She works as a Fundraising Research Analyst and recently completed her Master’s in Global Management but has always been drawn to storytelling and the performing arts. Rutuja loves travelling 🚁, watching spy thrillers🕵️, and trying out activities like axe throwing 🪓and escape rooms 🗝️(What an Izzy!)

Bee as Sarah
Bee (she/they) is a local artist 🎨 and whimsical coffee maker ☕ (Whimsical? That’s so Sarah.) This is her first production with KWLT and she couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity.

Summer is just about over, and it’s time to start thinking about fall schedules... including back to school… 😢

Join TriCity Improv for some laughs, to help you forget all about impending homework, studying, alarm clocks and making lunches!

It’s a night of laughter and spontaneity, all inspired by our amazing audience! Our talented performers will have you in stitches with their quick wit and hilarious, fully improvised scenes and games. If you like Whose Line Is It Anyway, you’ll love TriCIty Improv!

Every show is unique, so bring your friends and prepare to make stuff up with us!

Who is Lenore? Who is Adrienne?

Both fascinating existential questions, but, as it applies to Waterloo, they are our stage management team!!!

Lenore Brookes, Stage Manager
Lenore Brookes (she/her) is a designer and artist who returns to KWLT having been on several creative teams with the theatre, including God of Carnage, March Madness, Book of Esther, and East of Berlin.

Adrienne Dandy, Assistant Stage Manager
Adrienne Dandy (she/her) has been involved with KWLT since 2007 and has participated as a costumer, producer, director, audition wrangler, and board member. She has directed multiple staged readings, two New Works Festival plays and two mainstage productions, The Dover Road and Sister Cities. Some say she eats KitKat bars like a criminal, a claim about which she is utterly unrepentant.
