At Active Arts we strive to bring our love of dance, movement and creativity to our beautiful Georgian Bay community. Through our variety of programs offered for all ages we bring an affordable and accessible approach to discovering self expression. We hope to get you moving through life in your own unique way. We strive to create a safe, comfortable, learning environment for people of al

l ages to explore and create movement. By providing instruction in a cooperative learning environment we wish to bring our gifts as teachers and creators as well as to honor the gifts that all our students and dancers bring to our space. We aim to promote self-growth within the mind, body and soul by creating a space for an artistic community to come together.

What will the day include?
• Acro skills and technique

How do you know if this camp is right for your dancer?
• Acro, gymnastics or cheer experience is required
• must be able to do a backbend from standing with little to no assistance
• must have a strong cartwheel

Adult classes are back back back again! 🙌

2026 is the year YOU 🫵 hit the dance floor! Join us for the Winter session and dance away the winter blues.

Tuesdays in Wasaga 8:00-9:00pm - STRUT (heels): Kick off your week right with this sexy and sultry work out! STRUT is a a heels class (heels are optional) that is open to all humans looking to tap into their seductive side. Each class we will explore the art of seduction through dance and work on finding your best confident and sexy self.

Thursday in Thornbury 7:30-8:30pm- MOVE & GROOVE: Come one, come all! This class is for all levels of dancers and humans wanting to have fun, feel confident and find community through dance. We will move and groove together through various styles such as jazz, hip hop, funk, contemporary and more. Each class will include a warm up, basic technique and choreography.

The Winter session at Active Arts starts NEXT WEEK! ❄️☃️

We are so excited to get back into the studio for another session. We have so many options for all ages including: ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, acro, hip hop, lyrical and more!

Haven’t registered yet? No worries! Classes still have space and we are excited to welcome all dancers, movers and shakers to our studio. All humans are welcome and we would love to kick off 2026 dancing with YOU! 🫵

We are ready to eat, drink and be merry! 🎁🎄

The studio is closed and we are out of office until the New year. We will be checking emails periodically but please be patient while waiting for a reply. We will get back to emails in order of importance.

Registration for the Winter session is now open! If you are unsure what class to register for we encourage you to register to reserve a spot and then if we need to adjust, we can help you do that when we return.
