Check out May 29th's edition of the Clark's Crossing Gazette: "Band Director Receives Award: The Warman Community Band celebrated its 25th anniversary with a successful 'Peace, Love, and Joy' concert recently, which featured Kathyrn Shulz on vocals and Ukrainian trombone virtuoso Oleksandr Samarin. Director Barrie Redford, who helped create the band twenty-five years ago, recieved the 'Distinguished Band Director Award' from the Saskatchewan Band Association."
