Get Ready: YDG is Kicking Off Early!

Hey everyone,

We're excited to announce that the Youth Drama Group (YDG) will be starting up a little earlier this fall!

Here are the key details:

Registration & Info Night: Thursday, October 16, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Who's Welcome: All youth in grades 7-12!

Meeting Schedule: We'll meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. We will be adding more dates in the new year as we prepare for production.

Production to take place in April 2026

To help us prepare, please fill out the pre-registration form below. This will give us a better idea of how many people are returning.

We'll have more forms (like the youth contract and adult volunteer information) available on October 16th.

Feel free to forward this email to anyone who might be interested. Hope to see you there!

I got a sneak peek of this years Youth production. IT IS SOOOOOO GOOD!! And Becca’s words are perfect! Please come help support these youth and enjoy an AMAZING show!

"Many people don’t realize that this is a completely volunteer run, free program. None of us are being paid, (not in cash anyway) and are all here because we simply love theatre. There are no fees or costs for any of the youth who join, and very little is required of parents. When you buy a ticket, you’re not really paying to come watch a show. You’re paying to help rent the building for rehearsals, where lifelong friendships are born, to buy material for costumes that bring the characters to life, batteries for headsets to help our team communicate, to keep a youth program running, that is one of the most affordable extra-curricular activity for some and you’re paying to show all of these kids that their hard work, sacrifice and dedication is appreciated. Theatre doesn’t give out medals or trophies; your applause and accolades are their reward. And these kids deserve it! They’ve worked so hard, and the show is so good!" -Becca Goodwin
