Hey California pals! I'm looking at possibly coming down there for DragCon LA in July, and would love to hang out with as many of you as possible!

I would be staying at a vacation rental with a group, the convention itself is July 19-21 but I'd be there for a week total and don't have flights nailed down yet.

Also, if any drag folks there would be up for hosting a guest performer I would be absolutely honoured to bring a number south of the border!

Hey producer/performer pals! I'm looking for some insight here.

Due to limitations in resources, I typically only finalize an act when I have a clear idea of when and where it will be performed. While this approach works for me, it means I don't possess videos of most acts to include with show applications. The few videos I do have are either outdated or specifically designed as video acts rather than stage performances, which may hinder the effectiveness of my applications. How can I present unfinished acts in a way that meets producer expectations without overextending myself? Alternatively, if this is not standard practice, I would appreciate guidance on how to better convey what an act entails or find time and space to properly record unperformed acts.

Any and all feedback is valuable, thank you friends!

Hello all! I'm currently struggling with the process of moving so my content has been slow to produce
However, I lost a pet and close family member recently and spending time working on costumes and concepts and my own mental health, as well as trying to honour all the commitments I have made.. I find myself overwhelmed in the process.

I ask for your understanding and for the time I need to work on myself

I am also still looking for a place to live that fits my access needs and budget so if anybody has any leads on a studio or one bedroom apartment for basically immediately, I would be deeply appreciative and grateful

We did a lot of things today, and are feeling like we pushed ourselves right up to the limit. Like, if we hadn't opened the door right when we did we'd have collapsed on the front steps.

I'm going to be taking a break from social media for a while.
Not intending to be completely unreachable just more selectively so, because I know what hitting a wall feels like and I hit one for sure tonight.

Time for this particular fae to hibernate for a bit.
