For those who haven’t experienced HOT JAM SESSIONS yet: it’s a series of intimate sessions built around the love of rare vinyl, underground house, disco, groove and all the weird, beautiful corners of dance music. Think of it as stepping into a elegant and intimate hidden bar somewhere in the 90s , warm sound, records spinning, international underground local scene DJs , people actually listening to the music and vibing and that feeling that you’ve accidentally found the right place at the right time.
HOT JAM was born from a good closer friend of house of love crew. that same love for house music that connects all of us through House of Love.
HOTJAM was born from a community of local Canadian , Latin American refugees & Europe refugees who share a deep love for house music and a desire to reconnect with the culture.
We want to honor house music as it authentically grew within these communities — as a space for connection, freedom, creativity and belonging.
HOTJAM is also our way of contributing to the local scene: creating spaces where people can rebuild their lives, support one another and give emerging talent a real chance to be heard.
We believe music should bring people together, not create walls. We’re trying to push back against the poison that gatekeeping and elitism have brought into parts of our scene, and instead create something more open, welcoming and community-driven.
No gatekeeping. No hierarchy. Just good music, good people and a shared love for the culture.
so this Saturday we’re finally doing the crossover. Different crews, different backgrounds, same language: HOUSE MUSIC
the lineup is a pretty special one . DJs connected to Europe, Brazil, Mexico and Canada, bringing different flavors, grooves and perspectives to the dancefloor.
Expect really good and groove choons, rare records, deep cuts, disco, underground house, groovy house and everything in between. No formula, No EDM , no big-room vibes , — just good music, and the most important thing: !!! good people and have a proper great night together. !!!
… the tickets are ridiculously accessible. We really wanted this one to feel like a party for the community, not something you need to think twice about.
