The Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival is looking for volunteers for the world premiere of We Talk of Dreams by Asa O’Connor-Jaeckel! The show runs Aug 30, 31, Sept 1, 3, 4 at 6:30pm and Sept 5 at both 2:30 and 6:30pm at Saxe Pointe Park. For more information on the show or to fill out an application follow the link in our bio!

The Greater Victoria Shakespeare Festival is excited to announce the world premier of We Talk of Dreams by Asa O’Connor-Jaeckel opening August 30th at Saxe Point Park.

Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, We Talk of Dreams weaves together contemporary and Shakespearean text into a playful, surreal, and intimate story about q***r love and relationship. On the night of the Capulet party, Mercutio and Benvolio follow strange fragments of poetry into the heart of a labyrinthine garden. While Romeo and Juliet find each other off in the background, Mercutio and Benvolio attempt to navigate q***rness, language, connection, and what it means to fall in love in an increasingly confusing world.
