From the Belfry stage to the Phoenix classroom!

On September 25, our Theatre students will hear from Aren Okemaysim, who plays Louis Riel, and UVic Theatre grad Jonathan Mason, who plays Thomas Scott, in the Belfry Theatre’s production of Women of the Fur Trade by Frances Koncan.

There’s still time to see the show! Women of the Fur Trade runs at the Belfry Theatre until October 4, and the Belfry now offers pay-what-you-want tickets for every performance, making it accessible for everyone.

And there’s another Phoenix connection: Amanda Lisman, director of our February mainstage production, The Wolves, is also part of the cast.

We love bringing professional artists into the classroom and connecting what our students are learning with the work happening on stages right here in Victoria.
